Upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich

The Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 recently introduced. Two Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich has now available with build number I9100XXKP8 and I9100XXKP4. This two firmware were created December 20, 2011 for all Europe version of Galaxy S II . This released Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy S II, and official build will be coming soon.




Few information of changes Samsung Galaxy S II Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
~ When you do too fast then he will say force close.
~ The system is stable , but i could not get faceunlock to work, it always fails to set up. 
~ Message service not working.
~ Face security not working.
~ All simcard not accepted.

Stock ROMS:~

1. GT-I9100_I9100XXKP4_I9100OXAKP4 ( pass - samfirmware.com )
2. GT-I9100_I9100XXKP8_I9100OXAKP8 ( pass - samfirmware.com )

Odin installation: This is a manual installation for Samsung Galaxy S II to Android Ice cream Sandwich using 2 stock ROMs.

Download some files:
2. Pit file


info:
1. Full charge your mobile phone and computer UPS (at least above 60%-70%). 
2. Back up your all important files and app stored on your device. All files and app deleted during this upgrade.


Let’s start installing using I9100XXKP8 stock rom........

1. Extract the downloaded files.
2. Run Odin Multi Downloader.
3. Load each specific binary files.

4. Put the  Samsung Galaxy S II  in Download Mode: 
  •  Power off your phone then Press Home + Volume Down + Power Button.
  • When show a yellow triangle icon then connect your phone to your pc via USB.







5. Click Start Button and Let the whole process finish. When it successfully installed then the phone reboots.
6. Now, again the device on with download mode , this time flash the Kernel binary file on the PDA button. We need to flash the kernel files to Avoid any issues.

7. Now let this finish. When the phone reboots then unplug the phone.
check your firmware info: Type *#1234#
